The Nebraska State Penitentiary is seeking a Unit Manager candidate who models the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services' values of integrity and respect as we accomplish our mission: “Keep people safe.”+Responsibilities
+- Oversee the implementation of all departmental and institutional policies and procedures to ensure effective security, sanitation, and case management functions within the housing unit.
- Chair the Unit Classification Committee and the Unit Disciplinary Committee to ensure proper classification behavior management
- Supervise evaluate mentor subordinate team members to support efficient unit operation continuity services ensuring appropriate staffing coverage.
