    About the Role:


    We're looking for an empathetic and experienced Benefits professional, who has a passion for building better processes and solutions, and who has the knowledge to navigate the complexities of US healthcare and the breadth to manage all of Remitly's U.S.

    benefits.

    Reporting to the Director of Global Employee Benefits, you will drive process improvement, project manage annual programs and new implementations ensuring successful launches, and lead employee awareness and communication efforts.


    You Will:
    Oversee design and administration of US benefits programs, with an eye towards data-driven decisions and continuous improvement.
    Collaborate with benefits vendors to solve employee benefits issues; and manage implementation and change processes for new vendors.
    Manage Remitly's benefits administration processes, and oversee periodic audits to ensure data integrity across platforms and payroll.

    Manage design, testing, and implementation of ongoing enhancements to our Workday benefits administration module including partner file intergrations and benefits business processes.

    Lead the planning, administration and communication of annual open enrollment, and other benefits changes throughout the year.
    Manage the Remitly 401k plan, including annual non-discrimination testing, annual audit, and annual true up. Prepare for quarterly committee meetings in partnership with our investment advisors.
    Manage the U.S.

    leave of absence and ADA program in partnership with our outsourced vendor, ensuring a positive employee experience aligned to our policies.

    Ensure compliance of all Remitly US benefit programs with regulations, including HIPAA, COBRA, ACA reporting, benefits NDT and other national and local regulatory filings, legal disclosures and benefits notices.

    Manage global benefit programs, including mental health and family forming benefits, and help evolve our perk and wellness efforts.

    You Have:
    8+ years of experience in employee benefits growing company
    Deep knowledge of benefits administration processes
    Experience in Workday
    Ability to build strong partnerships, influence decisions, and communicate complex work across a variety of audiences

    Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $116,000- $145,000. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
