The Remote Diagnosis project started in 2022 and is beginning with the technical infrastructure setup. A first integration environment will be available End of April 2022. With the availability of the environment testing and bugfixing becomes a crucial part for the project success. The following overview applies for testing the remote diagnosis infrastructure. RITA is the application that performs the remote diagnosis. The connectivity to the vehicle is performed via the existing BMW Connected Drive infrastructure. Establish a continuous testing setup and perform tests of the new infrastructure (incl. vehicle and application) during the Remote Diagnosis project phase.

Nature and scope of main accountabilities

Create a Remote Diagnosis test concept, describing test procedure, testcases, infrastructure

Setup test automation

Setup Testing environment for continuous testing

Test Remote Diagnosis application (RITA) for two use cases ( center Remote Diagnosis, Roadside Assistance Remote Diagnosis)

Test RITA application (incl. vehicles & infrastructure) in various environments (INT, PrePROD, PROD)

Document tests, create fault tickets, track and retest fault correction

Reporting (weekly & monthly) of testing status, fault status

Status presentation in weekly Remote Diagnosis JourFixe with the central Project team

Education BS or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics

Pls indicate level of working experience required

3+ years of working experience in automotive or similar technology company

Experience with Testmanagement, systematic tests, test automation

Experience in vehicle diagnosis at BMW (fault codes, diagnostic jobs, vehicle bordnet, etc.)

Microsoft Windows & Office, Confluence and JIRA or similar agile workflow tools

Work experience, Leadership experience 7+ years of recent experience as a software developer
