    Essential Functions

    Responsible for activity specialists working in healthcare and memory support including; helping with hiring process, supervision, annual evaluations, and providing ongoing training in areas such as documentation, group leadership, calendar planning, job expectations and regulations.

    Assist in development of healthcare activities policies and procedures.
    Establishes goals for healthcare activity programming and sets objectives for reaching these goals. Reviews objectives with staff on a regular basis.

    Provide calendar analysis of the program while considering the seven dimensions of wellness, weekend, evening, daily programming and age appropriate needs of residents served.

    Provide group, chart, 1:1 binder and monthly tally audits on an ongoing basis.
    Skills/Qualifications
    Bachelors degree in Human Services or related fields.
    Three to five years experience in Human Services. (Preference given to previous work with elderly).
    Ability to work with older adults in groups and 1:1
    Knowledge of planning and implementation process for programs
    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
