    Description

    Petroplan is working with a confidential client that is currently seeking candidates for the position of Project Manager (RNG) in Houston, TX, or Tulsa, OK. A successful candidate will have 10+ years' experience in preferably both EPC and Owner/Operator settings. Technical expertise with Renewable Natural Gas projects is a must.

    Responsibilities:

    • Developing and executing project scope, budget, and schedule from FEL-0 through to project delivery and ongoing operations.
    • Managing the procurement of all equipment, supplies, and services necessary for the delivery of the project within established budget and schedule.
    • Managing EPCs including engineers, equipment manufacturers, and site contractors to include requesting quotes/proposals, overseeing/inspecting work to ensure adherence to the project plan, budget, and quality standards, and tracking change requests.
    • Proficiency in project management within an owner's team and seamless integration across diverse groups, including professionals from project management, commercial, and design.
    • Broad expertise that integrates various facets of large projects, encompassing permits, design, execution planning, contract management, procurement processes, collaboration with vendors, construction, cost estimation, and commissioning.
    • Experience in budgeting, cost estimation, and financial analysis.
    • Track project expenses, monitor financial performance, and optimize resource allocation.
    • Strong analytical capabilities to assess complex problems and develop effective solutions.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering required. Master's or PhD is a plus.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and achieve project objectives.
    • Strong understanding of RNG industry processes, including biogas production, waste-to-energy technologies, and gas treatment systems.
    • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and incentives related to renewable energy and environmental sustainability.
    • At least 10 years' experience as a Project Manager, with a background in engineering.
