Description
Job Functions:
Job Summary The Inventory Control Intern will be involved in multiple functions regarding Inventory Control. The Intern will coordinate data gathering with internal departments such as Logistics, Purchasing, and Material Replenishment, among others.
The Intern will also implement improved standards within the areas of focus to reduce excess handling, damage, transportation, and over processingJob Functions (Essential)Utilize external supplier data to improve efficiency in packaging, deliveries, and optimal order quantity selection.
Provide insight and develop essential inventory functions including but not limited to; PlanForEveryPart Database, Controlled Inventory Levels, FIFO, Improved Inventory Turns, and visibility and identification.
Support the development of company standards as well as assist in processes involving Just-InWork with the warehouse teams to assist with data analysis for improving storage locations, put-away processes and picking processes.
Coordinate with internal customers revolving around tasks and knowledge of packing, deliveries, Just-In
Promote a compliance culture in area of responsibility and live the letter and the spirit of the Rolls Royce Code of Conduct.

Required:
Currently enrolled in a university curriculum, majoring in Business Management, Financial or EngineeringUnderstand Microsoft Office and the basic functions of Excel.
