Description
:We are seeking a skilled Network Design Engineer with expertise in DWDM and Ethernet networks, coupled with a fundamental understanding of outside plant fiber infrastructure and power and space requirements within the telecommunications industry. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing network designs, developing optimization or migration plans, and ensuring the efficient implementation of services within the network. You will also play a key role in developing comprehensive budgets to support these plans and tracking cost savings post-migration. Excellent communication, time management, and project management skills are essential to succeed in this position.

• Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and incorporate them into the design plans. Budgeting:
• Create comprehensive budgets for network optimization or migration projects, considering equipment, resources, and other associated costs.
• Collaborate with finance teams to ensure accurate cost estimation and allocation of funds.
• Continuously monitor project expenses and identify opportunities for cost savings. Project Management:
• Provide project management support, ensuring that plans are implemented effectively and within established timelines.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure smooth project execution, adherence to design specifications, and resolution of any issues that may arise.
• Regularly communicate project status, milestones, and risks to stakeholders. Post-Migration Validation:
• Validate and track cost savings achieved through network optimization or migration.
• Conduct post-migration audits to ensure the successful implementation of design changes.
• Identify and address any issues or gaps in the network design, proposing corrective actions as necessary.
