    Job Title: RS Aircraft Technician I - 5th Shift at GAC Fort Worth

    Unique Skills:
    This is a Weekend nights position, working a 3x12 schedule (Fri/Sat/Sun) from 6pm to 6:30am with up to 20% travel required.

    Education and Experience Requirements:
    - High School Diploma or GED required.
    - FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate or 2 years of aviation maintenance experience.
    - Valid Driver's License required.

    Position Purpose:
    The Aircraft Technician I, under close supervision, performs or assists with inspection, maintenance, and repair of basic aircraft systems and structures.

    Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

    Essential Functions:
    • Communicate to receive and understand work assignments, safety protocols, and quality standards.
    • Perform basic aircraft inspections, repairs, and modifications under close supervision.
    • Assist with the movement of aircraft as required.
    • Properly complete work documentation, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
    • Identify and store customer property and equipment securely.
    • Follow standard procedures for operating ground support equipment.

    Additional Functions:
    • Utilize material tracking systems for parts demand and labor charges.
    • Dispose of waste fluids and materials properly while maintaining a clean work environment.
    • Use and maintain company-provided tools and equipment responsibly.
    • Comply with safety rules and procedures, reporting any unsafe conditions.
    • Assist in final phase testing including flight tests as required.


    Other Requirements:
    • Knowledge of aviation regulations, process specifications, and quality control manuals.
    • Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the English language.
