As we continue to expand our portfolio and presence in the market, we are seeking a talented Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team and drive our financial strategies forward.
The CFO will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial direction of HJH Investments.Reporting directly to the CEO, the CFO will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's financial operations, with a focus on supporting our commercial real estate acquisitions and investment activities.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in finance, extensive experience in the real estate industry, and exceptional leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:Financial Strategy and Planning
:
Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.
Conduct thorough financial analysis to evaluate potential acquisition opportunities, including due diligence, financial modeling, and risk assessment.
Collaborate with the executive team to identify and pursue strategic growth initiatives while optimizing financial performance.
Investment Management
:
Lead the financial aspects of commercial real estate acquisitions, including structuring deals, negotiating terms, and securing financing.
Evaluate investment opportunities, perform pro forma analysis, and assess feasibility to ensure alignment with investment criteria and objectives.
Monitor market trends, economic indicators, and industry dynamics to inform investment decisions and maximize returns.
Financial Reporting and Compliance
:
Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and internal policies and procedures.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders to support informed decision-making.
Risk Management and Internal Controls
:
Implement robust risk management practices to mitigate financial risks associated with acquisitions, investments, and operations.
Establish and maintain effective internal controls and procedures to safeguard assets and maintain financial integrity.
Identify potential areas of risk and develop strategies to address and mitigate them effectively.
Leadership and Team Development
:
Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Provide guidance and support to team members, promoting professional development and career growth.
Cultivate strong relationships with external partners, including lenders, investors, and financial institutions, to enhance the company's reputation and credibility.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with a focus on commercial real estate acquisitions and investments.
Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in analyzing investment opportunities and financial performance.
Deep understanding of commercial real estate markets, trends, and regulations.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated leadership experience, with a passion for mentoring and developing talent.
