    A successful Senior Operations Manager works with a high degree of autonomy to serve as the primary operational contact for EDI activities within the Anderson community, demonstrating conscientiousness, resourcefulness, consideration of stakeholder needs, seasoned judgment, and integrity in all aspects of work.

    As the Senior Operations Manager will need to work effectively across a wide-ranging, dynamic, and complex scope of projects, it is essential that they be a quick and enthusiastic learner as well as an organized, open-minded, and proactive collaborator with growth mindset.

    Project Management Demonstrated skill in designing, coordinating, managing, and evaluating small and large-scale complex projects, events, programs, workshops and conferences, including program implementation.

    (Supervision Demonstrated ability to recruit, train, motivate, supervise, direct and evaluate work performance of junior (e.g., Self-starter with the ability to effectively anticipate stakeholder needs/problems and implement solutions with minimal supervision.

    (Demonstrated ability to interact and liaise effectively, diplomatically, and cooperatively across diverse stakeholders (including faculty, staff, students, alumni, donors, program participants, and community members from various socio-economic, ethnic and cultural backgrounds).

    (Skill in presenting to large and small audiences, and in producing all correspondence (including emails, letters, comprehensive reports, proposals and marketing materials).

    Demonstrated skill in proactively and resourcefully solving problems, seizing opportunities, and navigating ambiguous and dynamic circumstances to advance office priorities.

    (Demonstrated ability to work and negotiate effectively with stakeholders and vendors to appropriate determine needs, select items, manage costs, and ensure delivery of quality products and services. (Working knowledge of University policies and procedures such as accounting, travel, purchasing, facilities, mail and document services, to coordinate and expedite tasks with associated central offices. (Working knowledge of issues related to equity, diversity, and inclusion.

    (COVID and Flu Vaccinations:

    The position is subject to providing evidence of inoculation.

    Hours and location of work are flexible, requiring occasional weekends and a minimum of 3 in-office days.
