    The Wealth Management Risk Team is the 1st Line of Defense Risk Management function that provides review, analysis, and management of the financial and non-financial risks of the Wealth business. We are looking for a control focused and analytical Vice President to be part of our team in Dallas.

    This role focuses on operational risk for the Wealth business overall.

    HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
    • Maintain an in-depth understanding of the business areas, its products, and supporting functions
    • Perform post-mortems of operational risk events, analyze trends, identify hot-spots
    • Assess areas requiring deep dives/testing and lead meetings with stakeholders to understand key business processes, identify risks, assess mitigating controls, and make recommendations on improving the control environment
    • Collaborate with second and third lines of defense, present in internal risk forums as well as to senior management
    • Review and effectively challenge assessors and certifiers to ensure completeness and accuracy of risk and control self-assessments
    • Respond to regulatory requests and participate in meetings with regulators
    • Work with Strats team to develop specific risk analytics/reporting
    SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR
    • Bachelor's degree required
    • A minimum of 8+ years of experience in a role in financial services with operational risk exposure or audit or broader risk management.
    • Experience in risk analysis and management and/or an understanding of regulations and regulatory reform strongly preferred
    • Strong analytical skills; ability to work with detailed financial or other data and understand and communicate commercial implications
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; confidence to work closely with senior management
    • Highly organized with attention to detail and excellent follow-through
    • Good judgment and discretion
    • Strong knowledge of the Wealth Management business
