    Description
    The Grain Merchandiser will help position The DeLong Company's assets to make the greatest long-term return. Communicate with other grain divisions to assist and complement each other when marketing grain. Monitor any risk associated with the futures market, freight, quality, and basis.

    SHIFT:
    Days

    Monitor Grades on inbound and outbound grain, along with market to receive the largest profit from that quality.
    Manage risk associated with futures transactions, being hedged properly along with rolling ownership.
    Communicate with other merchandisers, logistics, accounting, facility staff and customers.
    Use cash bids, HTA's, basis contracts or marketing programs to accommodate customer needs.
    Validate payments, settlements, freight invoices and grades.
    Bachelor's Degree
    ~1-3 years of Computer Knowledge
    ~Ability to manage confidential information.
