    Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Production Worker to assist with the operation of the bailing machines, compressing and binding textile and/or paper-related product into bales in preparation for resale.

    HOURS: Monday-Thursday 7am-3:30pm, Friday 7am-2:30pm

    PAY: $ $17.18 hourly

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF JOB:
    Lifting 50 pounds maximum. Frequently unloading baler, walking, bending, and standing.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:

    • Load material into compression chamber
    • Operate baler machine switches to cause ram to compress materials
    • Open compression chamber door and remove bales from machine
    • Thread tie bands around bale and twist or clamp ends of band to tighten
    • Assist with loading and unloading material from trailers as needed
    • May act as material handler, moving materials from or near trucks, dock, and/or staging areas to specific locations within the facility
    • Other such duties as may be required or assigned by supervisory staff

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

    • High school graduate/GED preferred, but not required
    • Ability to be forklift certified preferred, but not required
