    Description

    Work Schedule Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm (Flexible) - Rotating 24hr On call Coverage). (Licensed or waivered is okay. LCSW, ACSW, LPCC, APCC, LMFT, AMFT)


    Pay range LICENSED $105K to $120K/year.

    per year (prorated for part-time employees working less than 40 hours per week) to purchase the benefits of your choice on a cafeteria plan basis.

    Any amount of this defined contribution not used towards your benefits will be paid to you as taxable earnings.

    We offer a retirement plan with a generous employer match starting at 4% after one year of employment.

    Our paid time off is also more generous than many employers with vacation time accruing up to 25 days per year, 6 days of sick time per year and

    12 paid holidays.

    PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


    Provide leadership and coordination in the development, implementation, and management of policies and practices to ensure the delivery of high quality, cost effective care in all service settings consistent with Agency mission and in accordance with Agency, payor and regulatory requirements.

    Ensure licensing, accreditation, regulatory and Agency requirements, including facility, clinical records, documentation standards, financial records and program assets, are maintained.

    Manage the implementation of policies and practices to ensure consistent quality service delivery; directly supervise service delivery quality and content.

    Coordinate client care with Agency staff, other providers, and family members, as appropriate;
    Assure services are integrated to meet client needs;
    Participate in program development and organizational planning to ensure responsive care.


    Serve in a leadership role in interventions of staff providing crisis intervention; provide crisis consultation to families and public and law enforcement agencies.

    Oversee and, at times, provide treatment services, training, and support to clients, both individually and within groups, to develop and improve skills related to physical and mental health care needs; provide on-call back up to program staff.

    Manage day-to-day operations of the program and its service delivery issues.
    Manage expense and revenue targets, productivity, outcomes, and staff.
    Manage program budget; monitor and approve time cards, expenditures, and purchase orders; review reports on consumer admittance; prepare, analyze, and submit income and expense reports to Director;
    Produce metrics on productivity and performance to measure outcomes for Director's review.
    Provide direct supervision to and development of staff, both directly and indirectly; assist with hiring, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions;
    Coordinate the deployment of staff consistent with program needs;
    Participate in and lead staff, program and Agency meetings and trainings, as assigned, requested, or required.

    Oversee vigilance of cleanliness and safety of premises; direct staff and/or Facilities to address issues of concern, especially safety and security; contact Facilities maintenance, when needed

    Ensure clinical records and other required documentation are in order and completed, as required.


    OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Maintain effective relations with hospitals, outside case managers, and other community resources.

    Provide transportation in personal or Agency vehicle, including but not limited to the transport of clients and/or program supplies for Agency business.

    Participate in management of team/program discretionary resources available to meet client needs.

    AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

    Bachelor's degree in a related field and three years' full time, direct care experience with individuals with mental illness; experience can be substituted for education on a one-to-one basis.

    Additional full time, paid work experience may include:
    Master's degree in Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Social Work, or Behavioral Science and two years' post-licensure experience; (D) (may be required for some assignments;)
    One year full-time supervisory experience; (D)


    Current licensure from the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) as a Licensed Marriage, Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or an Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), OR current licensure from the California Board of Psychology (BOP) as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist (Licensed PhD or PsyD).

    First Aid Certification or successful completion of First Aid Certification within 30 days of hire, if assigned to residential facilities.

    (E)

    Effective utilization of computer technology for communication, information tracking, and accessing of online resources; proven proficiency in typing/keyboarding-minimum 40 net wpm-and a basic proficiency level in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Windows-based databases; (E) familiarity with UNIX-based databases.

    Work effectively with persons of different value systems, ethnicity, cultural backgrounds, language capabilities and disabilities; (E)

    Work collaboratively with individuals identified as those with serious mental illness who meet the following criteria:
    histories of hospitalization, institutionalization, including with the criminal justice system, substance abuse, low engagement in medication treatment, and difficulty in participating in structured activities and living independently; (E)
    Work with populations identified as high risk and/or considered underrepresented in the County Mental Health system with multiple barriers; (E)
    Exhibit exemplary customer service, compassion, and care in the execution of all duties and interactions. (E)

    Demonstrated ability to work with participants who:
    May also have histories of assaultive behavior; (D)
    May have resided in long term care facilities for extended periods; (D)
    May have patterns of service that relied almost exclusively on emergency and institutional care; (D)
    May have cognitive difficulties and medical co-morbidities, are considered medically fragile and may also be developmentally disabled; (D)
    May have long-term patterns of homelessness and criminal justice involvement. (D)


    Knowledge of:
    Clinical techniques for assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of people with mental illness; problem resolution and conflict resolution techniques; (E)
    Budget management; (E)
    Applicable regulations, contract requirements, and methods of compliance;
    Community resources, including those required to meet the non-mental health needs of the target population; (E)
    Mental Health Services Act (MHSA) and Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP). (D)

    Special Requirements:

    Must be able to meet and receive a criminal records clearance, as required by Title XXII, other licensing regulations, and Momentum practices.

    A valid California Driver License, with access to a reliable vehicle/for driving a company vehicle, current proof of auto liability insurance, and a clean DMV record.
