Duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate are as follows:

• Being a member of the Business Intelligence team
• Participating in a modernization of the business intelligence stack
• Optimizing the data pipeline
• Creating stored SQL procedures and system specifications
• Working with ETL
• Improving data movement processes and data structures
• Working primarily in the Azure data factory and Power BI for dashboarding and presentation
• Instill best practices
• Leading less experienced coworkers
• Creating software solutions
• Leaving your mark on the the transition to modern business tools
• Contributing to the success of the company in a significant way

Candidates should have a minimum background consisting of the following:

• A four year Information Technology or Computer Science degree
• Four or more years of SQL Server experience
• Proficient in best practices and coding methods
• Possess the ability to instill best practices
• Possess the ability to get the others up to speed
• Possess an understanding of principles of data modeling
• Skilled in visualization tools
• Skilled in data discovery
• A solid work history
• A US citizen or possess a green card
• A residence within 45 minutes
