    Staff Nurse (RN) Position Overview

    Luminis Health seeks a skilled Staff Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department.

    This is a full-time position working night shifts, with rotating weekends. As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the health care team.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide direct and indirect patient care, utilizing clinical nursing knowledge and skills in a fast-paced emergency department environment.
    • Develop and implement individualized plans of care, prioritizing patient needs and making revisions as necessary.
    • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure effective communication and seamless care delivery.
    • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to excellence in patient care and safety.
    • Delegate tasks and supervise support staff, ensuring efficient workflow and optimal patient outcomes.

    Requirements:

    • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
    • Current licensure as a registered nurse by the Maryland Board of Nursing
    • CPR - American Heart Association Healthcare Provider certification
    • ACLS certification within one year of hire
