- Understanding of various network devices – Routers, switches, firewalls, proxies, load balancers.
- Good Understanding of version and revision control practices and procedures
- Understanding of various OS, database servers, datacenters
- Knowledge of one or more infrastructure disciplines such as hardware, networking terminology, deployment practices, integration, automation, scaling, resiliency.
- Good Understanding of microservices, CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, REST APIs as well as container-based deployment models
- Understanding of IP addressing and network protocols
- Experience in standard industry change management processes and implementing methodical infrastructure change processes in a high-risk environment.
- Software development experience in one or more general purpose programming/scripting/devops languages: Python, Ansible, Terraform, JSON
