    Description
    The Sr. Water/Wastewater Engineer will work on water and wastewater treatment as well as distribution and collection of related projects. This individual will provide leadership and work closely with the water/wastewater design team and other discipline team members.

    The chosen candidate will be responsible for oversight of all technical aspects of a project, as well as administrative and management duties.

    The Engineer will be involved in business development activities such as responding to proposals and client outreach.
    DutiesProvide daily oversight and guidance to water/wastewater teamProvide weekly scheduling of time for team members as well as review of weekly time sheetsPrepare scopes of work, budget and monitor budgets throughout the entire projectSeek out and pursue business development opportunities to further expand the group in targeted geographical regions of New YorkEstablish relationships and teaming opportunities with W/MBE companies for given projectsProvide assistance on developing design concepts and potential alternativesProvide QA/QC to produce effective and high-quality project documents (including reports, design drawings, and specifications)Assist clients with construction procurementSupport projects in construction, including office administration and field observation oversightAssist with water and wastewater operations and research, hydraulic/process modeling, environmental review, permitting, and project financingBecome actively involved with local, state or national professional associations


    Salary Range:
    $100,000 - $130,000 per yearThe specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.
    RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Civil and/or Environmental EngineeringMinimum of 10 years' experienceProfessional Engineer license in New York StateTrack record of developing good working relationships with municipal, industrial, and/or institutional clientsProject management and leadership experience on various sized projectsEffective communication skills using oral, graphic and written formsAbility to travel to project sites and meet with operators to discuss technical mattersAbility to manage multiple workloads and budgetsFamiliarity with AutoDesk products and hydraulic/process modeling software is preferred
