    Capper's Insurance Service presents an exciting sales employment opportunity for licensed insurance agents seeking to advance in the financial services sector. Having served individuals and families for 93 years, we provide our sales agents with the flexibility to work from home, their office, or meet with clients in person. With 8,000 policyholders available for cross-selling, upselling, and securing referrals, Capper's Insurance Service agents can engage in Educational Medicare Seminars, strategic alliances, and other prospecting avenues. Our marketing efforts are further bolstered by the trust and recognition associated with national brands like Capper's Farmer, Mother Earth News, Grit, and Farm Collector magazines among others.

    Geared for your success - As a Capper's Insurance Sales Representative, you will undergo comprehensive product knowledge training and field training guided by seasoned sales professionals. Our business model eliminates overnight travel, allowing our sales employees to enjoy the comfort of their home each evening. Additionally, you will receive targeted prospect lists to facilitate your sales calls and maximize sales opportunities.

    Education/Experience:

    • High School Diploma or Equivalent
    • 2+ years' experience in insurance sales via phone or face-to-face interactions
    • Life, Health, and Accident License mandatory
    • AHIP certification preferred

    Skills/Knowledge:

    • Proficiency in insurance programs and adept at addressing prospect inquiries
    • Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities
    • Self-motivated with a willingness to independently handle tasks and prospecting
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Attention to detail

    Responsibilities:

    • Engage with potential and current clients
    • Utilize various prospecting methods including phone, seminars, t65 list, and face-to-face interactions
    • Complete and process Life and Health insurance applications
    • Build relationships to ensure a positive customer experience and satisfaction
    • Report daily sales to management
    • Maintain CRM system, and furnish diverse reports to management
