    Description:

    Responsibilities:


    • Sample preparation and testing on refrigerants (occasionally on lubricants)


    • Cleaning refrigerant cylinders utilizing a recovery device


    • Weighing out samples, heating sample, using basic instrumentation to test samples

    Use of Karl fisher and Viscometers

    materials compatibility testing

    Property testing

    Moving oil samples from containers into drum


    • Running batch tests


    • Setting up lab for testing


    • As the individuals advances in the role they could get into equipment calibration


    • PPE: will need steel toed boots, Eye protection will be provided by Intertek

    80+% of time will be in lab testing, 20% or less of time will be spent prepping cylinders for use.
