- Completion of a nuclear medicine technologist training program
- Completion of radiologic technologist training program with NMTCB or ARRT(N).
- ARRT - Radiography - American Register of Radiologic Technologists Upon Hire
- OR NMT-Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist Upon Hire
- California Department of Public Health- Nuclear Medicine Technologist License/permit plus Venipuncture Upon Hire
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider within 60 Days of hire
- One year experience in an acute care hospital is preferred, which may include clinical hours during technologist training program.
- 3-5 years clinical nuclear medicine experience.
- Other Duties/Skill Sets
- Sound understanding of anatomical positioning.
- Demonstrates the ability to analyze difficult situations, react properly and interact effectively with the departments, medical, technical and clerical staff
- Demonstrates commitment to service excellence and problem solving
- Manages and communicates confidential patient information.
- In strict conformance with departmental and SMCSR HlPAA policy
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Assist with patient/procedure scheduling.
- Explains nature of exam to patients to ensure cooperation.

Pay Range is $60.31 to $74.98 / hour
The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location.
