Job DescriptionThe Ramage Law Group is a growing entrepreneurial family law and special education law firm that is need of an experienced paralegal who will be the first legal team member to connect with our clients as they go through the legal process. We are committed to helping our clients come through the legal process in a better place and want them to know our team cares for them. We are in need of a paralegal who can hit the ground running, helping our clients.
The position is an important, in the trenches position that requires a self-starter, multi-tasker, and someone who can work with a sense of urgency. The paralegal is more often than not the go-to-for information for our clients and is directly involved in all aspects of the case, from assisting the attorney as a strategy is developed, managing discovery and legal pleadings, and assisting with trial and/or mediation.
If you love working with clients who are trying to navigate a stressful time in their life, enjoy learning new areas of law, are proficient with technology and streamlining office processes, and like to be a part of the legal team, this is the position for you. If you like being part of an organization that thinks outside the box to create a better service for their clients, this is the company for you.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, great at multi-tasking, adapt to new tasks readily, work independently and will be able to manage a caseload and work with multiple attorneys. The candidate should be proficient with law office management systems, such as Clio, and document builder programs, such as Form Builder. Although the job will require work in the special education section of the firm, special education experience is not required. Just a desire to learn something new
This is a full-time position and there is opportunity for growth. Salary will be commensurate with work experience.
