    What you'll do:

    Lead Material Handling Equipment Operator: In this role, you'll guide and train new material handlers, and step in for supervisors when needed. You'll be responsible for moving products in a fast-paced environment, stacking pallets, and maintaining a tidy workspace. Operating equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks safely is crucial.

    You'll play a vital role in Staples Supply Chain success by ensuring timely deliveries to customers.

    What you bring:

    • Certification as a Material Handling Equipment Operator; ability to operate necessary equipment safely.
    • Commitment to maintaining a clean work area.
    • Ability to build relationships with colleagues and customers, and solve problems collaboratively.
    • Quick adoption of safety procedures and commitment to safe work practices.
    • Capability to work in a warehouse with varying temperatures.
    • Basic English language skills for communication.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • 12+ months of warehouse experience or equivalent training/education.
    • Passing a legally permissible drug screening.
    • If hired Full-Time, flexibility to work additional hours as needed, including overtime.
    • Capable of lifting heavy items up to 100 pounds, and standing/walking for extended periods.
    • Minimum age requirement of 18 years.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma/GED or relevant work experience.
