    BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform routine building cleaning, ground work, light maintenance tasks and related work as needed and assigned. This position requires efficient performance of building cleaning, room set up/breakdown duties for different events and some basic maintenance duties. The custodian primarily works independently on routine recurring assignments and receives specific instructions on each new or unusual assignment. Every day is different with the variety of classes, performances and events that happen at the center. This is a great opportunity to work among the arts. Shifts tend to go quickly. Apply today

    Responsibilities:

    Arrange rooms for special meetings and activities by setting up tables, chairs, etc.

    Sweep and mop floors in assigned areas

    Dust/Damp mop a variety of rooms

    Shovel walkway snow, spreads chemicals as needed

    Helps unload delivery trucks

    Wash door glass inside and outside

    Clean and polish hardware, doors, furniture, etc. as needed

    Clean, scrub and restock restrooms

    Wash light fixtures and replace bulbs as needed

    Empties and washes garbage cans

    Clean grounds of trash and rubbish

    Turn on and off alarm system as needed

    Performs related work and other duties as assigned
