Hylanspecializes in broadband communications and intelligent transport systems ITS distributed antenna systems DAS fiber optic network platforms and wireless solutions Our expertise includes underground construction specializing in all outside plant construction activities including new technologies such as micro trenching micro fiber blowing directional drilling auger and jack boring capabilities Hylan invites you to consider a rewarding opportunity within our Sacramento CA office as a Commercial Driver CDL within the Construction Department working to accomplish company goals Responsibilities Primary job duties will be transporting material equipment and job related items secondary job functions will include general labor functions as directed by the project Foreman Accountable to ensure accuracy related to tasks and follow all policies procedures related to safety quality production Qualifications Must be 21 years of age have a Commercial Drivers License with air brake tanker endorsements per state requirements Must perform physical manual labor duties within work day Be able to read speak English language accordance Federal Motor Carrier Safety regulations Ensure that safety equipment used properly at times that work carried out safely efficiently manner Operate service maintain trucks other equipment Comply with proper method loading unloading various material equipment transported Be able to report crew time specified maintain contact crew dispatch offices required Follow companys guidelines acceptable conduct when dealing customers fellow employees public Must pass companys drug testing procedures Federal Motor Carrier drug alcohol testing regulations Keep appropriate documentation include DVIR Trip Logs This position full-time benefits Medical Dental Vision Life Ins 401K offered Candidates must complete pass background check including drug screen DOT physical Hylan equal opportunity employer EOEAA M F Vets Disabilities We invite resumes interested parties women minorities veterans persons disabilities Wage range based experience $18 $22 hour
