    Facility Inspector Supervisor

    The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity within the Office of Inspector General-Licensure Bureau.

    The purpose of the position is to assure compliance with State regulations through supervision of the health and residential survey activities for (Medicaid), trains new surveyors, oversees and serves as training coordinator, and the scheduling of all required State surveys.

    Qualifications for this Career Opportunity

    ·Knowledge of health care standards of practice.

    ·Skills in verbal and written communication.

    ·Skills in developing and maintaining constructive and cooperative working relationships with a variety of private and public agencies.

    ·Ability to function as a management team member including acting as Bureau Chief in the Bureau Chief's absence.

    ·Ability to communicate frequently and effectively with a wide variety of individuals, including but not limited to, residents, families, facility staff, business owners, and other state agencies.

    ·Ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information according to HIPAA policy and procedure.

    ·Ability to read and interpret codes and regulations.

  • Meet minimum qualifications:
  • oBachelor's degree in Nursing, Therapy, Social Work, Health Care Administration or other health related degree preferred.

    o5 years of experience as a health care practitioner or in the health field.

    oMinimum 3 years of experience supervising others.

    oOther combinations of directly related education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
