Day (United States of America)The Senior Adult Unit (SAU) provides acute inpatient psych/med care for older adults. Average length of stay is 10 days. This is a voluntary, restraint free unit which is licensed by DPH. It is not considered a mental health unit licensed by DMH.

Job Description:

Welcome to Addison Gilbert Hospital, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health. Addison Gilbert Hospital is a full service, community hospital providing leading-edge, patient-centered care to North Shore and Cape Ann residents.

• The orientation period is specific to the orientee and the unit in which you are working. The average medical surgical orientation is approximately a 12- week residency program. Preceptors will be assigned to you for the duration of your orientation. The clinical educator who supports your unit will remain with you through your orientation period and beyond.

Qualifications:
BSN preferred

• Must have completed all clinical rotations and be eligible to take the nurse registration

• American Heart Association – Basic Life Support Certificate
