    Job Summary

    The Third Party Risk Manager drives change and leads the design, implementation, and administration of the Third Party Risk Program.

    The Manager is responsible for the execution of third party risk mitigation and management processes including supplier risk assessment, due diligence, ongoing monitoring, and issues management.

    They work closely with internal and external stakeholders, and Category Management & Procurement teams to improve supply chain continuity and resilience.

    The Third Party Risk Manager is responsible for developing and maturing a program aimed at reducing risk in the short, medium, and long term – vetting these programs cross-functionally and leading the decision-making process across all defined risk domains to mitigate, manage and monitor supply disruptions.


    Essential Functions

    • Manages the on-going development and maturing of the Third Party Risk Management Program, through collaboration with cross functional teams to integrate risk mitigation and management strategies into sourcing and overall business processes
    • Manages a team to monitor and track identified issues and risks presented by the third-party relationships through resolution, working in collaboration with Category Management, business units and functional risk domain subject matter experts to identify gaps in controls for action
    • Provides expertise and guidance to the Third Party Risk team (of at least two full time employees) and ensures thier career growth; has the authority to hire, terminate, coach, develop, promote, demote and performance manage members of the team.
    • Identifies, develops, and reports on metrics and key performance indicators to ensure the Third Party Risk Program meets business objectives and effectively mitigates risk strategies
    • Develops and manages Third Party Risk policies, procedures and training based on leading practices
    • Provides regular and ad-hoc reports to senior leadership on the status of supply chain risks, emerging trends, identified areas of concern including the development of scorecards and dashboards, as well as identification of tools and techniques to automate processes
    • Applies a continuous improvement mindset to identify & implement process enhancements on policy, standards, procedures, tools, templates and reporting
    • Maintains a broad knowledge of third-party risks, trends, and best practices as part of continuous education
    • Builds communications plans and administers change management priorities for the Third Party Risk Program
    • Manages a robust organizational training and education program on Third Party Risk mitigation, management and monitoring
    • Collaborates with cross functional management teams in execution of strategic projects

    • Required Qualifications For Position
    • Bachelor's Degree Business, Supply Chain or related area
    • 4-6 years In the area of third party risk management and/or supplier relationship management
    • Comprehensive understanding of procurement and supply chain processes and systems
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
    • Strong project management skills with a track record of successful project execution
    • Strong financial and business acumen, and ability to analyze information to provide insight-driven recommendations
    • Demonstrated leadership skills
    • Experience in leading change management and affective positive organizational, process or culture change
    • Excellent communication, and strong interpersonal skills
    • Knowledge and experience in procurement, category management or related function
    • Knowledge or experience with SAP Ariba

    Salary Range:
    $107, $160,500.00
