    Job SummaryThe Order Fulfillment Specialist is responsible for assisting the fulfillment manager in optimizing the order quantity and delivery of goods to the client.

    Essential Job FunctionsThe essential duties and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

    Read orders, pick, print and efficiently pull orders.
    Responsible for packing select products to the appropriate specifications of the order and shipping zones.
    Verify quantities and receive inventory from other stock warehouses and/or vendors.
    Inspect for damaged packs, if present place in designated area and report on damaged sheet.
    Responsible for entry of shipping requirements with the appropriate shipper.
    Maintain appropriate levels of shipping materials and supplies.
    Transport finished goods to and from the place of origin to assigned destination.
    Collect and verify delivery documentation.
    Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
    Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal codes and regulations.
    Report any potential Food Safety issues to management immediately.
    Report any damages to company vehicles, equipment, and buildings via maintenance work order software program through lead or manager.
    Report any animal welfare related issues to management immediately.
    Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
    Comply with all company policies and procedures.
    Minimum Required Qualifications
    High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
    Minimum one year Finished Goods Warehouse experience required, Cold Storage preferred.
    Advanced knowledge of how to operate a handheld pallet jack and handheld scan device.
    Valid driver s license and acceptable driving record, required.
    Knowledge of inventory control and tracking.
    Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to assist others.
    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    Ability to multitask and effectively prioritize workload, with a strong attention to detail.
    Outstanding communication skills.
    Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
    Ability to independently make decisions and self-motivated.
    Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
    Ability to comply with all company policies and procedures.
    Physical Demands
    Regularly works around moving mechanical parts and machinery inside warehouse floor. Constant exposed to temperatures that are under freezing.
    The ability to move 50 pounds alone and 80 pounds with assistance constantly.
    Must be able to hear for forklift horns and dock alarms.
    Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time.
    Must be able to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed.
    Must be able use hands for simple/firm grasping.
