    Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM) Faculty

    Pay Rate:
    $200000.The Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine, a mission-driven institution committed to exemplifying a culture of professionalism and success, is seeking a qualified candidate for a core faculty position. The ideal candidate is an OMM-trained DO with academic experience.

    This is a wonderful opportunity to join a growing school that is uniquely partnered with a local regional health care system that provides state-of-the-art medical education and exceptional clinical and clerkship opportunities for its students.

    ACOM is the first osteopathic medical school in Alabama and the only osteopathic program in the U.S. that is part of a county healthcare authority providing excellent financial and clinical support
    An innovative and interdisciplinary four-year curriculum to teach osteopathic medical students, along with a 10,000-square-foot simulation lab expansion that will further enhance ACOM's curriculum and provide many opportunities for experiential learning
    Administration, faculty, staff, and students are driven by ACOM's core values—integrity, service, passion, innovation, respect, excellence, and diversity
    One day per week of clinical practice is encouraged, as well
