    John Scott House is a 126-bed skilled nursing facility seeking a Full-Time RN or LPN Evening Nursing Supervisor to lead its evening shift. Our compassionate and experienced staff will help you reach your maximum potential in this role. You must have strong clinical skills, be a team player and ability to lead. The Facility would also consider part-time interest if two candidates were interested in splitting the 40 hours role.

    Requirements for Evening Nursing Supervisor:

    • Must possess valid unencumbered, LPN or RN State License and current CPR certification
      • Registered Nurse/RN licensure, preferred
    • Nursing degree from an accredited college or university
    • Two (2) years of clinical nursing experience within a hospital, nursing care center or other related healthcare setting preferred.
      • Must have minimum of one year experience in long term care
    • Must have experience in supervision and principles, practice of teaching, and computer skills
    • Experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices strongly preferred

    Job Duties for Evening Nursing Supervisor:

    • Welcome new admissions and oversee discharges
    • Supervise nurses and CNAs
    • Manage staffing changes
    • Support family inquiries and screen visitors
    • Coordinate patient/resident referrals with central admissions
    • Ensure high quality resident/patient care
    • Provide support to ancillary staff as needed
