Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

The Quality Engineer will provide quality assurance support to an assigned program and/or area to ensure that the aerospace components are produced in accordance with customer and company quality requirements while maintaining production flow.

Under general direction, reviews and approves engineering manufacturing plans, process sheets, procedures and work instructions for proper and complete flow down of customer requirements to ensure compliance.

Initiates root cause and corrective action requests to suppliers for non-conformances. Facilitates corrective action team investigations and submits short and long-term corrective action plans to customers.

Serves as supplier / customer liaison for quality related issues (i.e., customer audits, customer complaints, etc.) and will ensure compliance with the specifications and drawings.
