    As the lead of the video editing/motion graphics team, you will inspire, mentor and manage a team of editors and motion graphics artists. This person will need to have strong motion graphics and editing skills. This role will be responsible for developing new creative concepts, collaborating on visual direction and execution and seeing video projects through from concept to completion. This person will play a crucial role in creating visually stunning content that engages and resonates with our audience. This person will have a clear understanding of the differences of how viewers consume content for different channels and can develop narratives focused on defining and delivering brand image for a multitude to executions including social, retail, media and beyond. As a motion graphics expert, you excel at creating complex animations using a variety of motion graphics and editing tools. This team will interface with our video creation team to collectively deliver and experiment with video throughout the creative funnel.     Responsibilities:

    • Conceptualize and develop creative ideas for video content and motion graphics that align with the company's brand identity and objectives.
    • Collaborate to storyboard, script, and plan video projects from conception to completion.
    • Design and produce high-quality motion graphics, animations, and visual effects using industry-standard software such as Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, and others.
    • Edit raw video footage into polished and compelling final products that meet project specifications and deadlines.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in video production, motion graphics, and visual effects, and incorporate innovative techniques into your work.
    • Work closely with stakeholders to understand project requirements, provide creative input, and ensure that visual content meets expectations.
    • Maintain organized files and assets, and adhere to established workflows and processes to streamline production efficiency.
    • Collaborate with other team members, including designers, animators, and marketers, to ensure cohesive storytelling across various platforms and channels.
    • Additional responsibilities as assigned.

    Requirements:

    • Proven experience as a video editor, motion graphics designer, or similar role, preferably in a creative agency or production environment.
    • Strong understanding of visual storytelling principles, animation techniques, and design fundamentals.
    • Excellent creative and conceptual thinking skills, with the ability to translate ideas into visually compelling content.
    • Experience with 3D applications and VFX software is a plus.
    • Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics, composition, and typography.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
    • Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively present and articulate creative ideas.
    • A portfolio showcasing your previous work in video production, motion graphics, and visual effects.

    Required Education and/or Experience:

    Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or 4 – 6 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Required Computer and/or Technical Skills:

    Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator). Should have basic to intermediate knowledge and abilities with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Google Suite.

    The company reserves the right to modify this job description with or without notice. Employees may be asked to perform additional duties outside of normal job scope on a temporary basis per company policy. Salary range for the position: $70,000-$80,000; 15% bonus target. This role will be eligible for medical, dental, vision, 401k, sick leave, parental leave, and company paid time off plan.
