Job Description
As a Security Officer Flex Roving Driver Patrol in Albertville, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Learn more: As an unarmed patrol officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will complete reports, communicate clearly with site teams and visitors, and deliver customer service with integrity. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license in line with Allied Universal driver policy requirements, while supporting a caring, team-first culture.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate updates to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
- Monitor access points for employees, visitors, and drivers, verifying authorization and directing traffic flow in accordance with site procedures.
- Complete routine reports, incident documentation, and shift logs, including observations from patrols and/or access control activity.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
