    Description

    Senior Electrical Engineer

    Boulder, Colorado, United States

    I am working with a leading, Smart Energy and EV Charging company who are already generating revenue on their hardware products including energy monitors, Smart Home systems, Home Battery Systems and EV chargers. They are a one-stop shop for optimizing your energy usage saving customers thousands of dollars at below-market prices.

    They are now looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their team

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    ● Define product architectures and strategies for optimizing safety, cost, performance, and time-to-market

    ● Lead design, simulation, prototyping, and validation for engineering projects, including 10-100kW EV charger systems for diverse applications

    ● Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers

    ● Support transition from new product development to high-volume manufacturing

    ● Engage with a passionate engineering team, participating in design reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure exceptional hardware products

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of experience in power electronics or a related field
    • BS in electrical engineering or a related field
    • Expertise in AC and DC power systems
    • Expertise in electrical hardware lab equipment
    • Proficiency in schematic layout design using industry standard tools
    • Proficiency with modelling and simulation tools
    • Familiarity with Altium Designer
