    • Description
      Join our team at the New Paltz Family Health Center as a Social Worker. You will be providing clinical mental health services to individuals of all ages and their families. Your responsibilities include conducting diagnostic assessments, counseling, psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and more. Collaborate with our health care team and utilize your expertise to deliver exceptional care and services.
    • Requirements
      • Provide individual, family, and group counseling
      • Work closely with physicians in patient evaluation and treatment
      • Prepare comprehensive evaluations, treatment plans, and reports
      • Conduct short and long term therapy with clear objectives
      • Supervise social work student interns
      • Educate staff on psychosocial issues
      • Identify and address child welfare issues
      • Ensure social service compliance with standards
      • Participate in quality assurance programs
      • Attend department meetings and required staff meetings
      • Demonstrate knowledge and skills in providing patient care
    • Qualifications
      Bilingual language (Spanish/English) skills preferred
      Masters in Counseling Clinical Psychology from an accredited University
      MSW with New York State Certification
      NYS licensure as LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, PhD/PsyD
      NYS license if Clinical Psychologist or Psychiatrist
      CSW if MSW
      Strong diagnostic and clinical skills
      Experience with diverse populations
