    New Day Recovery is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our clients as they go through their recovery journey. Your work will contribute to the overall well-being of our clients and the success of our facility.

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform daily cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing client rooms, common areas, and office spaces.
    • Ensure all cleaning supplies are adequately stocked and report any shortages to the supervisor.
    • Handle and dispose of hazardous materials, such as soiled linens and waste, in accordance with safety protocols.
    • Follow infection control and sanitation procedures to maintain a hygienic and safe environment.
    • Report any maintenance or repair needs to the maintenance team or supervisor.
    • Assist in maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and request replacements as necessary.
    • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a coordinated and clean facility.
    • Adhere to all safety and security protocols to protect clients, staff, and property.

    Qualifications:

    • Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial work is preferred but not mandatory.
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
    • Ability to lift and move moderately heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed.
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
    • Knowledge of cleaning products and techniques is a plus.
