- Work closely with inpatient psychiatric providers
- Complete initial admission, history, and physicals as well as orders
- Address any follow-up medical care needs, follow-up on patient labs, etc.
- Respond to emergency medical needs throughout the hospital
- Requirements: (1) board-certified or board-eligible; (2) ACLS preferred (training offered)
- hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday
- Call responsibility: one week per month (overnight call is done by phone only)
- Some holiday coverage needed

Northern Light Acadia Hospital is seeking a part-time Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide extra weekend coverage. In this position, you will deliver compassionate medical care to patients on our adult and pediatric inpatient units on our campus in Bangor, Maine.

Northern Light Acadia Hospital is a regional, acute care psychiatric hospital that is a leader in the provision of tele-psychiatry services, including consultations to statewide emergency departments. We offer innovative programming in behavioral home health, integrated behavioral healthcare in primary care practices, a Mood and Memory Clinic, intensive outpatient treatment, ECT, Ketamine, and an inpatient psychiatric treatment and observation unit.
