CHI Health has an immediate need to add a Medical Assistant / Certified Medical Assistant (NOT Medication Aide or CNA) to our Women's Health / OB Clinic located at our Midland's campus off of Hwy 370 & 84th St Hours:

Monday-Friday 8a-5p, No weekends, No holidays & No call CHI Health strives to care for you the way you care for your patients.

Our full-service network provides a variety of Primary Care & Priority Care Services, including Family, Internal, Geriatric, and Pediatric Medicine, in addition to several specialties to deliver custom care based on the unique needs of our patients.

Responsibilities
$5000 Sign On Bonus Offered Paid out in FULL after 30 days of employment In healthcare, we all agree that support is a must in order to be successful.

This position will support our healthcare teams by ensuring they have everything they need in order to care for our patients.

They also play a huge role in a patient's experience and prep when they visit any of our clinics.

Expectations:
Performs general patient care following established clinic workflows. Performs general patient care following established clinic workflows.

Greets and prepares patients for the health care provider by obtaining and recording vital signs, reviewing drug allergies and current medications, completing applicable screening questionnaires and documenting reason for visit.

Collects and prepares ordered specimens for laboratory analysis. Prepares and provides ordered medications and/or vaccines to patients. Cleans and sterilizes instruments. Ensures patient exam rooms are stocked, clean, and orderly. Escalates non-routine issues, questions and/or concerns timely and appropriately. Ensures safety checklists and quality controls are completed as required and necessary action taken if indicated. Performs other duties within scope of role as assigned.

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate of medical assisting program Successfully completed Medication Aide 40-hour course or current/valid Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association High school diploma or equivalent
