- Attends stakeholder, industry, and PUCT meetings under the direction of the ERCOT management team
- Escalates issues to the Supervisor and/or Manager in a timely manner when necessary
- Develops strong working relationships with other internal departments
- Performs engineering studies using the ERCOT network models to analyze conditions and events on the system
- Tests and validates changes to market applications

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, or related discipline or a combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge to a major in such fields.
- Level 2- Requires minimum 2 years related work experience in excess of degree requirements.
- Level 3- Requires minimum 3 years related work experience in excess of degree requirements.
- Senior Level - Requires minimum 5 years related work experience in excess of degree requirements. in electric utility industry.
- Lead Level - Requires minimum 8 years related work experience in excess of degree requirements.
- Demonstrates proficient technical skills with common business applications such as SQL, EXCEL and PowerPoint.
- There are requirements in this role that will be required to be performed on-site. It is estimated that your business area will require this position to be on-site at least (2) days per week. Circumstances and business needs may require you to be on-site more often. On-site requirements are at the discretion of Management.
- Remote work schedules shall be performed within Texas. Log-ins during out of state business travel, and any temporary remote work arrangements that have been submitted and approved in Workday by HR.
