- Performs nebulizer treatments, CPT, ventilator checks, ABGS, assists with intubations, CPR and other departmental needs.
- Working In ICU, PCU, Floors, ER, Nursery and ancillary departments. Critical care skills, ACLS, BLS, NRP, Illinois license and RRT required.
- Administering treatments, performing ventilator checks, ABGs, oxygen therapy, responding to Rapid responses and Code Blues.
- Graduate of a COARC accredited School for Respiratory Therapy
- Licensed as an RCP in the state of Illinois
- RRT Credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care for individuals with greater than 6 months' post-graduation
- RRT eligible new graduates must obtain the RRT credential within 6 months of hire date
- BLS Certified from AHA or ARC
- ACLS Certified from AHA or ARC within 60 days from hire date
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification required for any Charge or Supervisor RT (Respiratory Therapy); credential within 6 months of hire date for all others.
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) Certified required for any Charge or Supervisor RT; credential within 6 months of hire date for all others
