The Food and Beverage (F&B) Director at Embassy Suites, Panama City Beach, Florida, plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing all aspects of the hotel's food and beverage operations.

This position requires a dynamic individual with strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.

• Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the hotel's food and beverage offerings, ensuring alignment with the brand standards and guest expectations.
• Lead and supervise a team of F&B professionals, including restaurant managers, chefs, servers, bartenders, and other staff members, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure efficient and effective operation of all F&B outlets, including restaurants, bars, banquets, and room service, by monitoring performance, optimizing workflows, and maintaining high standards of service quality.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to design innovative menus, incorporating local flavors, seasonal ingredients, and culinary trends, while also considering dietary restrictions and guest preferences.
• Manage inventory, purchasing, and cost control processes to optimize food and beverage profitability, minimize waste, and maintain budgetary targets.
• Develop and implement training programs for F&B staff to enhance their skills, product knowledge, and service standards, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
• Monitor guest feedback and satisfaction levels, proactively addressing any issues or concerns, and implementing corrective actions to ensure exceptional guest experiences.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards, as well as regulatory requirements, in all F&B operations, ensuring a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for guests and staff.
• Establish and maintain effective communication channels with other hotel departments, such as sales, marketing, and finance, to coordinate activities, maximize revenue opportunities, and achieve overall business objectives.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape in the food and beverage sector, identifying opportunities for innovation and differentiation to maintain a competitive edge.

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in a leadership role within the food and beverage department of a hotel or resort, with a track record of success in driving operational excellence and guest satisfaction.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team to achieve common goals.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in computer software applications, such as Microsoft Office and hospitality management systems, for data analysis, reporting, and operational planning.
• Knowledge of food and beverage trends, culinary techniques, and industry best practices, with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required to accommodate the needs of the business and ensure seamless operations.
• Hilton experience is preferred.
