- NWTHS serves as the trauma center for the 26-county Texas Panhandle

- Approximately 1,600 trauma admissions yearly

- Rotating schedule for Surgical and Trauma call coverage
- Collaborate with a team of five Trauma surgeons and a Trauma surgical P.A.
- Conduct surgical consultations and follow-up care at TTUHSC Amarillo campus
- Provide medical education to residents and medical students during surgical rotations
