    Position: Full-Time PACU Registered Nurse (RN)

    Job Description:

    We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Full-Time PACU RN. The successful candidate will be responsible for postoperative patient care in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). At Parkwest Surgery Center, we pride ourselves on creating a supportive work environment that prioritizes patient well-being.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Monitor and assess patients recovering from anesthesia
    • Provide postoperative care and manage pain
    • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a seamless transition from the operating room to the PACU
    • Monitor vital signs and intervene as needed
    • Ensure patient and family education regarding postoperative care
    • Maintain a clean and organized PACU environment

    Required Skills

    • Valid RN license in the state of Tennessee
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in PACU nursing
    • BLS and ACLS certification
    • Strong critical thinking and communication skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
