- The facility serves honorably discharged veterans, veterans spouses/widows, and Gold-Star parents.
- Long-term care, short-term rehabilitation, memory care, and end-of-life/hospice care
- Approach duties with a positive attitude and constructively support open communication, dedication and compassion.
- Assist with lifts and transfers
- Take vital signs
- Perform CPR and standard first aid
- Assist with meal feeding
- Makes beds, cleans resident's rooms & maintains cleanliness and comfort of residents
- Cleans work areas & equipment, walls &/or floors.
- Escorts residents on & off grounds to scheduled appointments & activities.
- Participates with resident in recreational activities.
- Communicates with residents to establish & maintain friendly & relaxed atmosphere.
- Attends meetings & in-service training sessions pertaining to client/resident car
- Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition & subtraction & in reading,
writing & speaking common English vocabulary. - Must be listed on Ohio Nurse Aide Registry - Or equivalent of Minimum Class
Qualifications for Employment noted above - CPR from AHA or ARC
