Data Center Technician - $25/hr - $26/hrContract to possible hire
Solugenix is assisting a client in their search for a Data Center Technician. This is a Contract to possible hire opportunity based in Ashburn, VA (Onsite).
Looking for a team of two professionals to set up a brand-new data center. The Team will be responsible for a single data center. There will be no travel between sites. Experience with racking and stacking enterprise networking gear.
Possess a firm understanding of Data Center cabling requirements.
How to test and troubleshoot Data Center cabling using testing equipment along with connectors and types of wires.
Update work status on a team SharePoint site and ServiceNow Ticketing system (must be able to close tickets).
Requires some schedule flexibility for very occasional after-hours testing (one of the two team members can come in later to accommodate the afterhours).
