    Description
    Job Summary

    Performs a variety of tasks under minimum supervision of higher-level employees. The Forklift Operator is responsible for running powered industrial trucks to load and unload materials, deliveries and move product to and from storage areas, loading docks and work locations.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Load, unload and stage products and materials
    • Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment
    • Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
    • Transport material to workstations.
    • Create and maintain daily forklift inspection log.
    • Comply with company policies and legal guidelines
    • Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities
    • Performs any other duties assigned by management
    Required Skills/Abilities
    • Good verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to read, listen, understand, and follow directions.
    • Ability to work in a variety of roles.
    • Minimum 1 year Experience in warehouse, manufacturing or other related fields.
    • Familiarity with pallet jack, forklift, or other industrial vehicles
    • Able to work overtime as needed.
    Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Valid Driver's license
    Physical Demands
    • Prolonged periods standing and walking.
    • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
    • Must be able to work in a varying temperature in a warehouse environment.
    • Regularly lift, push, pull and/or move up to 50 pounds
    Work Environment:

    The employee may be exposed to extreme hot or cold temperatures, heights, and loud machinery or equipment. The employee may be exposed to hazardous chemicals.
