Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at Hover Senior Living. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in building maintenance, repairs, and facility management, as well as a strong understanding of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other general maintenance tasks. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and overall well-being of our residents by maintaining and repairing the physical environment of the community.

Responsibilities:
- Perform general maintenance and repairs of the physical building, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other systems
- Conduct routine inspections of the property to identify and address maintenance issues in a timely manner
- Respond to maintenance requests from residents and staff and address issues promptly
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for larger maintenance projects and repairs
- Help maintain the cleanliness and order of the community by performing regular cleaning tasks
- Assist with groundskeeping and landscaping duties as needed
- Participate in emergency response procedures as necessary
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment inventory
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and staff by responding in a professional and courteous manner

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
3+ years of experience in building maintenance and repairs, preferably in a senior living or healthcare setting preferred
Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance tasks
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Basic computer skills and the ability to use maintenance management software
Physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 45 lbs. unassisted
Valid driver's license and ability to meet insurance requirements
Must be able to pass a criminal background check
