    General Position Summary
    This role involves providing security monitoring services to client companies by analyzing events, handling common issues, and responding to incidents.
    Essential Job Functions

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Monitor security events in real-time and handle security incidents and health alerts.
    • Keep accurate records of security incidents and manage them until resolution.
    • Respond to security alerts, customer inquiries, and service requests.
    • Analyze incoming alerts and collaborate with senior analysts on response.
    • Follow SOC procedures for case and alert handling to triage security incidents.
    • Identify and resolve issues to enhance services and generate reports for clients.
    • Manage internal assets and support clients in adopting Managed Security Services.
    • Monitor and maintain security tools for both internal and customer use.
    • Engage in technical troubleshooting across various technologies.

    OTHER & MISCELLANEOUS
    • Strive for continuous improvement in work processes.
    • Maintain high accuracy in daily activities and perform special projects as assigned.
    • Report irregular issues to management and uphold ethical standards.
    • Communicate effectively with colleagues and external contacts.
    • Adhere to company policies and ensure a safe working environment.
    • Provide technical support in pre-sales and post-sales activities.

    Qualifications
    Education & Work Experience
    • Minimum 1 year of SOC analyst experience and 5+ years in IT.
    • Bachelor's degree in relevant fields like Cybersecurity or Information Systems.
    • Previous experience with network security devices and strong IT security interest.
    • Proficient in English with excellent communication skills.
    Tools & Equipment
    • Proficiency in Windows OS and MS Office.
    • Familiarity with general office equipment.
    Certificates/Licenses
    • Certifications like MCSE, CCNA, CISSP, or CISA preferred.
