Job Description

As a Certificated Elementary Teacher

• You will create a flexible program and environment in a low-student-teacher ratio setting which promotes learning and personal growth with a diverse population of students including hands on learning experiences
• You will establish engaging rapport with students and quality relationships with parents and other staff
• You will motivate students to develop the skills, attitudes and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation for their continued academic growth, social, and emotional development

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Valid California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential required
• English Language Learner Authorization required
• Basic Skills Requirements (i.e. CBEST or Approved Out-of-State Basics Skills Exam) Verification of Highly Qualified/No Child Left Behind (HQ/NCLB) compliance (i.e. Subject Matter Exam/Subject Matter Waiver/NCLB letter)

Tentative Schedule: M-F 7:30 PM-4:15 PM (4:30 PM on select days), some evening events

Number of Hours: 40 hours a week

Tentative Start Date: July 29th 2024

Position: Full Time

Salary: $61,600 to $91,505 a year
